Derbyshire Open Arts - About the Network
What is Derbyshire Open Arts (Darts)?
Darts is an 'open studio' type event in Derbyshire which takes place every year, over three days during Spring Bank Holiday weekend. It is a non-profit making organisation run by artists for artists.
What does Darts do?
Darts is an free and informal annual event, aimed at bringing members of the public into contact with artists and makers of fine crafts across Derbyshire. This is a chance for the public to find out what inspires artists, see how they go about their work and find out why they do what they do as well as purchase unique gifts. The event makes for great days out touring around the county. Free brochures are available county wide in all libraries, Tourist Information centres or from the Organiser. They include an artist's venues map to help visitors plan a tour of the studios.
Who can join Darts?
