DADG also commissions work from time to time. An example is this poem (pdf 36KB) written by Cathy Grindod. Her brief was to celebrate both the breadth and diversity of the arts in Derbyshire and to exploring the importance of the arts in people's lives. The commission was written for the launch of the DADG advocacy pack, at the Winding Wheel, Chesterfield in April 2006.
