Night Stations, an ambitious project by Derbyshire artist Charles Monkhouse now has a web profile. Night Stations is a series of light installations for the rural countryside. Always intriguing, often spectacular and created at night, the work provides alternative readings of the landscape. Sited in accessible public spaces, the work attracts a wide audience from local residents and visitors to regular gallery goers. The work often emerges out of partnerships with land based stakeholders and local communities in which the pieces are based, and is enriched by local tradition and history.
The new Night Stations website has now been launched. This will keep you up to date with past
projects, current work and future developments.
