The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust
The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust
The Peter De Haan Charitable Trust focuses its grant-making on social welfare, the environment and the arts. The Trust will gradually spend all of its endowment over the next few years until 2020. In 2008-09, the Trust expects to make grants of between £2 million and £3 million.
The Trust’s arts programme focuses on projects and organisations which:
- are partnership-based with young people as the protagonists of the creative process;
- have an emphasis on community cohesion and under-represented groups;
- support confidence-building, collaboration and the incubation of ideas amongst young
people; and
- are innovative, wide-reaching and based on tangible outcomes.
The Trust don’t specify minimum or maximum grant sizes. The trustees will consider funding up for to a maximum of three years and grants may be for project-based applications or to subsidise core costs.
To apply, email or write to the Trust correspondent. Further information on what to include in your application available at http://www.pdhct.org.uk/ Applications are considered throughout the year, with major grants being awarded at the trustee meeting held quarterly in March, June, September and December.
